How many pressure settings are available for Nimbl?


Nimbl has three pressure settings: low, medium, and high.

How do I adjust the pressure?


The pressure button allows you to toggle between the three pressure settings. Press the pressure button and the number of illuminated LEDs will indicate the selected pressure (1 for low, 2 for medium, 3 for high). Nimbl will remember the last pressure setting used.

How do I adjust pressure during a treatment session?


Once a treatment session has started, settings cannot be changed unless the treatment program has completed. To change pressure settings, unplug the device. Plug in the device and use the pressure button to choose the desired pressure setting.

How can I purchase the optional accessories for my Nimbl?


Visit www.shop.tactilemedical.com to purchase accessories for Nimbl, such as the travel bag and rechargeable battery.

Can I trace my Nimbl accessory order through the Order Tracker in Kylee?


No, the orders reported in Kylee are the prescription therapy products. The accessory orders placed at www.shop.tactilemedical.com are not tracked in Kylee.

Are Nimbl accessories eligible for insurance reimbursement?


Nimbl accessories are not medical therapy; insurance does not consider these medically necessary. The travel bag, power cord, and rechargeable battery require a credit card to purchase; submission to insurance is not appropriate.

I’ve been using my Nimbl as prescribed for over a month but I’m still experiencing swelling.


If you’re experiencing swelling or skin changes, such has changes in color, texture, thickness, or ability to stretch, in your breast(s) or chest, you may need an advanced pneumatic compression device, such as the Flexitouch® Plus. Contact your healthcare team to inform them of your continued swelling and utilize the Kylee app to share your 30-day activity report.

I already have a Flexitouch Plus. Can I purchase Nimbl as a secondary device?


Yes, to purchase Nimbl as a secondary device, you will need to provide a new prescription. Payment in full is required prior to shipment. Contact your health care team to request a new prescription.

I already have an Entre Plus. Can I purchase Nimbl as a secondary device?


Yes, to purchase Nimbl as a secondary device, you will need to provide a new prescription if prescription is > 12-months. Payment in full is required prior to shipment. Contact your health care team to request a new prescription.

Troubleshooting


The LED lights are blinking quickly, what does that mean?


Regardless of which lights are blinking quickly or the number of blinking lights, follow the steps below:

  • Unplug the device and disconnect the garment from the controller unit.
  • Ensure the garment tubing is not kinked.
  • Reconnect the garment and plug in the device.
  • Restart the treatment session by pressing the Start/Pause button.

The controller unit isn’t functioning as expected.


Disconnect the power adapter from the controller unit, then reconnect. Ensure the power adapter is fully inserted into both the back of the controller unit and the wall outlet, and that the wall outlet is functioning. A green light on the power adapter will illuminate if the wall outlet and power adapter are functioning.

The garment pressure seems higher or lower than expected.


Verify that the correct pressure has been selected by viewing the number of illuminated LEDs (1 for low pressure, 2 for medium, 3 for high). Adjust the fit of the garment, ensuring no folds or kinks are in the fabric. Check that the latches are firmly in place and attached properly.

Why isn’t my garment filling with air?


Verify the Start/Pause button has been pressed, that the connectors are attached properly, and the tubes are not kinked. Ensure that both upper and lower connector latches are engaged.

If the chambers still do not fill, disconnect the power adapter, detach the connectors then reconnect the power adapter. Press the Start/Pause button and feel for air coming out of the controller unit then attach the connectors. To confirm proper functioning, lay the garment flat on the floor, press the Start/Pause button to begin a treatment session and confirm all chambers sequentially inflate.

How long will it take my garment to deflate?


After completing your treatment, the garment will fully delate in approximately 3-minutes. The LED lights will blink slowly while the garment is deflating. The controller will turn off once deflation is complete.

My garment is still inflated after treatment. Can I deflate it manually?


It is normal for a small amount of air to remain in the garment, giving it a puffy appearance. If the chambers remain fully inflated:

  • Ensure the tubing is not kinked.
  • Press and hold the Start/Pause button for at least three seconds to start the active deflation process.
  • Detach the connectors and the garment will deflate.

Bluetooth®


How does Nimbl connect to Kylee?


Nimbl connects to Kylee via Bluetooth®. Download Kylee and create an account using the email address assigned to your Nimbl order. If you’re not sure which email you used to place your Tactile order, please contact Customer Support. Once your account is created, Kylee will show you how to quickly connect to your Nimbl. Download Kylee for Apple devices. Download Kylee for Android devices.

How do I know if my Nimbl is connected to Kylee?


The Bluetooth® light on your controller will illuminate solid blue when pairing is successful.

Why is the Bluetooth® light blinking?


The Bluetooth® light will blink quickly when the controller is attempting to pair with a mobile device via Kylee. The Bluetooth® light will blink slowly once the controller is paired to a mobile device via Kylee.

I’m having difficulty connecting Nimbl to Kylee.


Ensure that Bluetooth® is enabled on your mobile device, Kylee is open, and your mobile device is within 10 feet of your plugged-in Nimbl device. Move the controller and mobile device away from other systems that may cause interference (i.e. Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth® streaming devices, microwave ovens, baby monitors, and other mobile phones).

How do I ensure my data is synced to Kylee?


Treatment sessions can be viewed in Kylee once the automatic sync is completed. Automatic syncing can only occur when the Kylee app is open and Nimbl is on. To check if your data synced, navigate to the My Device screen in Kylee.
