Wednesday, October 29, 2025
12-1 pm ET | 8-9 pm ET
This advanced-level course is designed for experienced clinicians specializing in the management of breast cancer-related lymphedema. It offers an in-depth exploration of advanced treatment strategies, anatomical complexities, and the latest research shaping clinical practice. This course will enable attendees to gain new insights into fibrosis assessment and management, as well as trunk, chest, and breast lymphatic dysfunction. Additionally, the course will address critical survivorship challenges faced by patients during and after breast cancer treatment, equipping providers with the knowledge to refine their approach and optimize patient care.
At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:
1. Investigate anatomical pathways of the lymphatics throughout the upper body.
2. Revise lymphedema assessment to include thorough investigation of lymphatic dysfunction of the trunk, chest, and breast regions.
3. Develop a plan to effectively assess fibrosis throughout the upper quadrant.
4. Investigate the patient for common survivorship issues associated with breast cancer treatment.
5. Assess the patient for appropriate interventions, including pneumatic compression, to address lymphatic dysfunction and other common survivorship issues associated with breast cancer.
