Course objectives:

1. Explain how HNC and its treatments affect the anatomy and physiology of soft tissue, lymphatics, and function for patients.

2. Describe early identification of patients with HNCRL based on updated National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines.

3. Describe how to identify internal and external HNCRL and the impact it has on the patient’s function.

4. Describe treatment options for HNCRL.

5. Describe how treatment for HNCRL can affect external and internal structures to positively impact patient treatment outcomes.
