Join us for a live webinar covering breast cancer risk factors, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship with an emphasis on identification and management of lymphedema.
Objectives:
1. Explain how breast cancer and its treatments affect the anatomy and physiology of soft tissue, lymphatics, and function for patients.
2. Describe early identification of patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) based on updated National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines.
3. Describe how to assess impairments and lymphedema unique to patients with breast cancer.
4. Describe treatment options for BCRL.
5. Explain how use of surveillance programs for early identification and intervention can reduce the incidence of BCRL.
