DESCRIPTION:12-1 pm ET | 8-9 pm ET \nJoin us for a 1-hour live webinar focused on edema management for patients with orthopedic conditions. The program will focus on how unmanaged edema can be detrimental to patient outcomes after injury or surgery and how using techniques to support the lymphatic system can enhance outcomes for patients with acute and chronic edema.  \nObjectives: \nAt end of the program\, the participants will be able to: \n1. Relate the role of the lymphatic system to the treatment of acute and chronic edema \n2. Explain how the lymphatic system responds with musculoskeletal injury/inflammation \n3. Describe the components of complete decongestive therapy that may be considered for use in orthopedic care to improve skin integrity\, pain\, mobility\, and independence with ADLs \n4. Identify how excessive edema may be detrimental to optimal patient outcomes \n5. Correlate how supporting the lymphatic system improves outcomes in orthopedic care \n6.
